Vision and Mission

VISION

The vision of the Panchayat (Panchayati Raj) is to establish democratic decentralization with the aim of creating self-reliant, inclusive, and empowered villages through “Gram Swaraj” (Village Self-Governance). It seeks to build a vibrant and sustainable Panchayat that promotes participatory planning, ensures good governance, delivers essential services, and promotes social justice at the grassroots level.

  • Inclusive Development: Ensure sustainable and inclusive rural growth, with a focus on poverty eradication, creating better livelihood opportunities, and empowering women and vulnerable sections of society.
  • Viksit Bharat and Modernization: Leverage technology, including e-governance, for efficient delivery of public services, and improve agriculture, telemedicine, and education to build self-reliant (Atmanirbhar) and developed villages.
  • Social Justice and Good Governance: Establish and strengthen Nyaya Panchayats to facilitate timely access to justice, strengthen rural infrastructure, and create a democratic, clean, green, and healthy environment.
